Here's some highlights of what happened during 2010 at OLDAPORT FARM.........
Bluebells were late in flowering this year (May/June) - almost a month late but when they finally flowered, Oliver and Bella had a great time exploring the woods!

We did very well with our shearling ram - Jester - He came first in the shearling ram class then he went on to win the male championship and finally taking the Lleyn breed championship

Foals: We have had some new foals born this year - Xenia and Faith had their colt foals late April then Tansy had her filly foal in June.

Lambs: we had a good lambing - here's some photos taken this spring.....
We had little rain this summer and as result the grass grew very little and went brownish as seen in the photograph below on right side
December saw two early snowfalls before Christmas - It was the earliest we have had for many years and temperature went low as -10c (not as low as some other parts of UK though!) but it still was very cold and icy.
