Our Ram Courtney Dale was selected as the first Super Sire by the members of the new Lleyn Sire Reference Breeding Group in July 2005. He was twin born and has an index of 188. His semen was collected at the CBS Technolologies at Malvern;
Members of the group will use the semen. Hopefully the offspring will record well and the 2006 lambing should see a step forward in the group's aim for an improvement in growth, maternal ability and other desirable Lleyn traits.

Lleyn ewes make EXCELLENT MOTHERS, they are milky and capable of rearing three or even four lambs.
